This story is well rounded and contains some solid reporting that goes beyond the NYU study that is the central focus. Avoids the common mistake of study reporting and seeks third-party perspectives, students and city officials among them.

Insightful article about a newly released landmark study which looks at connections between educational success and living in NYC public housing. While the study is criticized by Housing authority officials and even the study's backers say it doesn't give enough answers, the reporter uses it as a prompt to interview teens who are succeeding at school and explains why they are succeeding.

It was an article that held no suprises. I like how the reporter gave us the what the findings suggested, and did not conclude it for the reader. Kind of boring subject matter.
