Economy hits European flag carriers in premium tickets

The worsening economy is squeezing Europe's flag carriers, with dwindling sales of premium-class tickets starting to take their toll. On Thursday, Air France-KLM followed British Airways and Lufthansa in reporting a steep fall in quarterly earnings, largely because of the asphyxiating price of oil last summer. Full Story »

This article was well-constructed with consistently strong sourcing. I was pleased to see quotes from executives of both major airlines and an effective comparison of their financial situations. I'm not sure it was necessary to discuss OpenSkies in the end there; it didn't really add anything to the story. I was also not impressed by the random typos throughout the piece.
