This piece falls somewhere between news report and opinion piece, as the writer's agenda is evident through phrases like "the situation is so bad" and "it is thought." Granted, the bias is somewhat grounded because this is a clear environmental crisis, but also one that experts should be able to comment on. Where are the sources in this piece? There are statistic and organizations referenced to, but no direct quotes. Also, I'm willing to bet that breakfast isn't the only thing that would suffer from a lack of bees. What about the companies that sell those products? What about lunch and dinner? This reporter needs to look further.
