Using breakfast to show the importance of bees is a clever way to explain how relevant bee activity is to human life. One complaint is the use of the phrase "Scientists think" to cite data - no information is cited to specific researchers at any point in this article.

This piece falls somewhere between news report and opinion piece, as the writer's agenda is evident through phrases like "the situation is so bad" and "it is thought." Granted, the bias is somewhat grounded because this is a clear environmental crisis, but also one that experts should be able to comment on. Where are the sources in this piece? There are statistic and organizations referenced to, but no direct quotes. Also, I'm willing to bet that breakfast isn't the only thing that ... More »

This is a feature article about a seemingly unfamiliar European industry declining in the midst of the struggling economy. It only refers to one source, and does not include any quotes. However, it is an informative piece.
