This story is good journalism - it is well sourced and takes a historical overview. The writer discusses the way wine sellers skew and adjust prices to accomodate their customers' cash flows. For many shoppers, wine is "Necessity" not "Luxury".

A little meltdown with that whine ?? :)

This is a very strong story, well-organized and thorough. The reporter spoke with a wide variety of sources, including one anonymous source. Why? I also bristle slightly at the sight of stacked quotes, but can accept this as a common practice. Overall, a very nice piece about an interesting trend.
