Notes: This was an eye-opener for me. The author takes appropriate steps to show that this is, in fact, a trend and not an few isolated incidents. Sourcing is essentially complete for an article this length. My biggest quibble is with the term "medical tourism" -- seems lazily used to me. Is there a more intelligent way to put it?

Notes: Insightful article about how fluid the Texas-Mexico border can be when it comes to health care. It is well sourced and features solid statistics. Very good context in looking at the effects and future of this type of health care transaction.

Notes: Yes this story gives multiple sources and considers different stakeholders' points of view so I consider it good journalism. However the underlying economics of why American procedures need to cost 3 times as much as Mexican procedures is stated as a given and not explored.
