Future of the press: useful or just shallow?

As a young journalists myself I seem to be confronted weekly with the notion that I should have to choose between niche-market streaming/social networking/freelancing and corporate media conglomerates. Neither of these is very titillating. Full Story »

This is a commentary, so not much in the way of sourcing. But it's quality journalism because the writer clearly explains the dilemma facing young journalists today.
