I agree with Tom McCarthy and this is the kind of story I have come to expect from the Los Angeles Times. Not a very good newspaper anymore. It is really pathetic journalism. It has been two weeks since Obama won the nomination and idiot writers and other pundits are aleady attacking him for not doing anything. What a joke these people are.

I don't think the story is factual or fair. President-elect Obama has absolutely no power to change anything while President Bush occupies the office. It appears to me that the writer is joining Rush Limbaugh in trying to make it appear that Obama is responsible for the current problem.
