Kilcullen provides interesting personal perspectives on Afghanistan. He seems to think winning or loosing the war is about a 50-50 proposition, but he sounds overly optimistic. At least he is suggesting something more than just a military strategy.

The Brits and the Russians encountered a wee bit of trouble occupying Afghanistan, and it looks like we are repeating history.
