While this type of man-on-the-street report is inherently limited, Sokolove presents an interesting summary and asked some good questions. In return, he seems to have gotten some surprisingly candid answers.

Personally, I was impressed by the young waiter who not only correctly stated the national debt, but also how much we're spending each month in Iraq. There's been a lot of talk about "low-information voters" this year. I wonder if he indicates that pundits underestimated just how much information voters really had.
