The article focuses on the possible GOP presidential candidates--those we currently know about--who could run in 2012 and provides information about their relative strengths. Missing is any mention of the GOP civil war that's looming between moderates and right wingers.

Having just come into the sunlight from the turmoil of two excruciating Silly Season years, it’s almost too much to speculate about another Silly Season lurking somewhere ahead. What everyone should realize is that 2012 will be a different world from today. And an entire new crop of candidates could emerge long before then.
