Barack Obama's victory last night was no doubt historic, and the Democrats, as expected, extended their leads in the House and the Senate. But their victory was no landslide, despite what appeared to be overwhelming advantages.

The article seems intended to shore up the spirit of all the neocon Republicans without facing the reality of the election loss. It attempts to minimize the mandate given to the Democrats in an apparent partisan talking-points collaboration to fight the progressive will of the people. Partisan and internally dishonest.
