Interesting opinion piece by Weekly Standard editor Fred Barnes, pointing to the anticipated democratic rise to power resulting from today's election. The author presents reasonable factual evidence to support his points, which are logically presented. It provides helpful context on how conservatives view the likely aftermath of this election.

Still banging the fear drum, Barnes ignores the conservative Democrats who have teamed with Republicans to squash almost everything for the last two years. He ignores how often Senator Reid has carried water for the same corporate interests the GOP does. And, most amusingly, he ignores the fact that this piece is published in a national newspaper that is part of a far-right media empire. In short, he ignores reality. To me, this significantly undermines his argument.
