Clearly favorable to the voting rights group, but an effective piece nevertheless. ANP's confrontation of the election commissioner is an example of traditional public interest journalism. Her quotes were revealing of the flippancy of public officials of her ilk, and important to capture, this being the eve of a pivotal election. Ultimately I'm not bothered that this piece was covered with an editorial bias -- its impact would been lesser had it practiced the equivalence of mainstream news reporting.
