Christopher Hitchens is in top form in this concise, razor-sharp opinion, which lambastes what he argues is the GOP ticket's religious dogma and contempt for science. As always, he is strong, eloquent, witty and civil. His examples are well chosen. Very compelling, highly recommended.

Go Hitch! This pattern of anti-intellectualism is dangerous! Why is this aversion to science so associated with conservatism? This frightens and frustrates me endlessly.
