This is a strange little news/opinion piece that reports on McCains furtherance of polarization, then seems to endorse that by quoting McCain partisans.

I don't see thejournalistic value in stories that merely ask a bystander or two their opinions of a candidtae. At this juncture of the campaign, statistics hold far more merit than the same warmed over opinions of the candidates that we have all heard for two years now. Ok, so the desperate McCain gotcha of late is "Did you know Obma is a Socialist?" We know that McCain has swerved all the highway with the Scare Talk Express.
