Informative article about McCain and one of his "heroes" Teddy R. I would like to see/hear someone in the MSM remind McCain of his previous statements that sound somewhat socialist in nature, and perhaps educate him about T.R.s statements recounted in this article.

By juxtaposing quotes from McCain, T. Roosevelt and Obama the author very effectively makes a point that McCain's claim that Obama's tax proposal amounts to socialism is specious. He demonstrates that the claim is not only counter to the beliefs and actions of McCain's hero, TR, but also inconsistent with positions that McCain himself has previously taken. This is a very well constructed and written opinion piece.

A clever piece parsing Barack Obama's "spread the wealth" remark vis a vis John McCain's hero, Teddy Roosevelt. Key citations from all three individuals.

This is an interesting way of exposing the "socialism" argument for the political theater it truly is.
