This entire article is based on the (false) premise that anyone opposed to illegal immigration is a xenophobic racist. While I agree with the main thrust of the commentary (Not getting rid of birthright citizenship), it is framed against an incorrect background. In my opinion, this article only seeks to demonize the opposite side in the debate by taking an issue put forward by extremists, and pretending that it is the view of all those against illegal immigration.
