Will Gun-Totting, Churchgoing White Guys Pull the Lever for Barack Obama?

Obama told me. “If I were watching Fox News, I wouldn’t vote for me, right? Because the way I’m portrayed 24/7 is as a freak! ... Who wants somebody like that?

If you're tired of the sound-bite media coverage, this is surely the cure. Lengthy and in-depth, this presents a well-rounded picture of Obama through lengthy interviews and contextual information. This opinion piece has no journalistic merit. It is a campaign ad spread over many pages, in one of the Democratic Party's main media outlets. There is no attempt at balance. It reads like a strategy paper prepared by a member of Obama's staff (and the autrhor may well be on his staff). There is nothing about how McCain and Palin have planned their campaign. Calling Obama "mainstream" (page 6: yes, it was hard, but I actually read that far). is pure propaganda; no independent ... More »
