This is a biased piece in that there is no side presented from the government's point of view. That being said, the authors make an excellent case to illustrate their point.

Although this is an advocacy/opinion piece, it contains substantial support in the form of FOIA document images and links to other sources. Falls short of giving the government viewpoint, however.

Destruction of the environment, including endangered species, has been going on via this administration from the beginning. I belong to many environmental/animal orgs and all report things getting worse week by week, month by month. I am very alarmed at the damage being done. There will come a time when we pass the point of no return. I think we are VERY close to that line. It is senseless to continue abusing Earth's ability to repair unnecessary damage being done to it...

This is more of a report than a news article. Yet, the thoroughness of the Union of Concerned Scientists lends credibility to this disturbing trend of ideology over truth so apparent from this administration. Links allow the reader to read the email manipulations directly.
