An article refuting a McCain Web attack ad on Obama/Ayers. This piece is especially informative as it points out that many people may now have their reputations questioned because they were involved in a foundation this ad mentions. The post ends up calling the ad a "pants on fire" lie. Here is another post on the Obama/Ayers connection: http://blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2008/02/obamas_weatherman_connection.html

Articles debunking claims of sinister relationships between Obama and Ayers dutifully follow each false claim. This one, however, is unusually detailed and irate. It labels a recent McCain add as malicious -- not just because of lies about Obama but because of a long list of prominent Americans who assisted or served on the Board of the Annenberg Challenge and therefore also stand unjustly accused.

A straight attempt to justify Obama's association with Ayers. The civic big shots are easily manipulated and generally don't know up from down - so it proves nothing that they were involved. Obama, on he other hand as a long record of leftism that makes Ayers a natural associate.
