The article is somewhat biased but not (surprisingly) as much as the inflammatory title would suggest.

Scare tactics are used in the title and lead, following the author's anti-choice position. The article does have some information to add, though I did not check for bias in the sources. No mention is made of privacy rights nor government intervention in intimate personal choices via law or denial of financial coverage.

This is a good piece summarizing the difference in abortion rates between the US and Europe (the US is higher) and why that might be so. I wish the author hadn't given us his opinion on public funding for abortion, I don't really care what he thinks. And, I think he would feel differently were he a poor woman who had a crisis pregnancy.
