Basically gets to the essence of what most commentators are saying. I would have added that this debate re-created the contrast of the first presidential debate in that all-important aspect of tv debates, namely, body language and tone. Obama/Biden appeared presidential, knowledgeable, magnanimous, and reassuring. While McCain/Palin seemed tense, angry, petty, obtuse, and disturbing.
