I find these articles illuminating - backroom players, etc. it is a critical part of investigative journalism. But issue articles miss the big picture of context. If the econ was humming would this movement exist? Is this movement's success actually a reflection of Obama's policy and leadership failures. Instead of seeing things/issues as standalone, many times they are parts of a holsitic picture. In the 30s there was Father Coughlin but FDR kept all that under control with effective policies that citizen's could see and feel.
