I changed the story type from Special Report to Commentary, as this is not journalism, per se. I am a Liberal, a Democrat, I live in Florida and I'm very concerned about voter suppression. The purpose of NewsTrust however is to judge good journalism, and this doesn't make the cut. It is a highly partisan piece and is well below average in information, sourcing, context, evidence, balance and style. Sorry, but that's my assessment of this piece.

Sorry, but I have to go along with Dale on this one. The writer's allegations are supported only by what the reader might already know. The piece is saved from being a total disappointment by the advice at the end, under "What citizens can and should do."

U.S., Democracy is about to be flushed down the toilet by corrupt authoritarian forces. This subject must be given wide exposure.
