It is refreshing to read a story about marijuana in the mainstream press that isn't obviously biased. The question which is explored - what is the relationship between marijuana use and schizophrenia - is looked at from different points of view, including the idea that schizophrenics may be more likely than non-schizophrenics to get high (I didn't see any actual data to support this idea) because schizophrenics report feeling better, with fewer negative feelings. I was bemused to see links to other unrelated articles on marijuana scattered through the piece, such as, "read about how to grow medical marijuana" and "see photos of the great American smoke-out." I guess marijuana use has not only reached the mainstream (which it did decades ago) but is now being officially acknowledged as mainstream.
