Geneva Talks Help Iran

From Geneva yesterday come all kinds of good diplomatic vibrations. Iran may allow U.N. inspectors into a recently unveiled uranium-enrichment plant "within two weeks." Another meeting will be held before month's end. A "freeze" on sanctions was bruited about. Classic Iran bashing by the Wall Street Journal. Contrary to the claims made in this piece, there is no evidence the election was "stolen" because every poll that I have seen, taken after the election, showed Ahmadinejad as the winner. The "new" nuclear facility near Qom had not even been completed, with the centrifuges still uninstalled. The Journal's assertion the facility will be "cleaned" before it is inspected by the IAEA, seems spurious.
