On the September 11 edition of MSNBC Live, Hill contributor and Republican strategist John Feehery claimed that "when the Obama campaign and when the left bloggers attack [Gov.] Sarah Palin, it's kind of attacking motherhood and apple pie and everything good about America." By recognizing the "leading" question format, it is almost certain this was a propaganda interview. We will most likely be seeing much more of it as NBC expunges legitimate opposition discourse from its MSNBC subsidiary (i.e. Olberman, Matthews) while replacing them with those more controlled and who toe the line. Publishing the interview text is merely the next step in "propagation" to those who missed the show, but accept motherhood statements that reinforce their predisposition, while playing the "bad patriot" card on those not so predisposed. The subtle message to those easily led is "a lot of people are energized" (true) ergo "if you are patriotic, you should be energized too". In this case there is neither necessary nor sufficient cause to support the inferred conclusion.
