This is a rather pedestrian story -- one that changes from day to do. It is interesting now, and you look for the next day's results to see how they change. Great journalism -- no. Important information -- always, every day until election day.

The linked breakdown statistics do not seem to include the latest data. The results are informative, but are by necessity horse race information as opposed to issue oriented. A breakdown by how many people are voting against their own interests and issues would be interesting.

As the people get to know the candidates and their policies I expect McCain's lead to increase. Obama is too far left for the USA.
