I wish I could get some of that 20:1 or 8:1 money. The bookies are completely misreading the situation. Palin brings the common touch and close contact with about half the families in America (all those with an unwed mom in the extended family), Lots of votes from women just because she is a woman. Lots of votes from men because she is a woman and a sigh of relief from huge numbers of people who find her record of backing down vested interest extremely positive. She is a great speaker and will give Senator Obama a run for his money in that department. Until McCain chose Sarah, Senator Obama was a virtual certainty. Now it is a whole new ball game.
