This story attempts to fit Palin into a Libertarian mold not consistent with my readings on her views. It fails to mention her opposition to many methods of birth control, which would not be a popular Libertarian viewpoint. Her attempts to ban books from her small town library where she was mayor are not mentioned (see 9/2/08 PFAW "Friday Note (on Tuesday)", nor was anything said about the extremely conservative Juneau Christian Center, (part of the "Third Wave Movement") she attends, the separatist Alaska Independence Party she favored and spoke to, or her "strong anti-equality record" as mentioned in the same PFAW message.
