Even though Serena said politics had nothing to do with the decision, the demise of Cullen's show fits into a larger national picture in which politically liberal talk radio has struggled. This local reporting, while not relevant to me directly, is decent. If the reporter had done a better job of contextualizing the larger issue of struggling liberal talk shows, perhaps using Rory O'Connor as a source, it would have been much more interesting to a national audience.

It is an extremely important one coming on the heels of another NewsTrust rated piece dealing with suppression of voices as we near the November elections. Dissenting views not allowed.
