A brief look at a crucial angle of the U.S. immigration debate: farm work and wages. Would love to read more about this; informative, as the article highlighted the "Take Our Jobs" program (and platform) which I knew nothing about.
An important angle on the immigration debate. Unfortunately, it reads too much like a profile of the union campaign, and the reporter doesn't engage in much original reporting. The use of DoL stats and the opposing side's quote seems perfunctory.
An excellent story. The only suggestion would be to modify the title to:" Farmers and Union Tackle Immigration Issues." The story heavily cites the UFW, (United Farm Workers of America), throughout. This is an article based on facts from the UFW.
