Very interesting and in-depth report. I had no idea this phenomenon was widespread enough to cover in this much detail. Some of the people interviewed have legitimate gripes about the rendering of justice in the system, but in the cases with happy endings, the protagonists are not held accountable for breaking the law.

An interesting look at how illegal immigrants attempt to use marriage to U.S. citizens as the route to legal residency and citizenship--with varying outcomes. While largely anecdotal and relying on anonymous sources, the stories featured present solid cases that are replicated throughout the country. Some discussion of the law and its pitfalls and loopholes also included; I would like more sources statistics and links to additional sources to support what is being said.
