A well-thought out piece that demonstrates just how poorly thought-out the McBush position on terrorism is. McCain is just another Know-Nothing who graduated in the bottom 1% of his Annapolis, and as Waldman points out, is unable to learn from Bush's mistakes. The statistics on numbers of terrorist victims should be sufficient to persuade most people, but of course the average "low-information" voter might well be persuaded by the Republican fear and smear campaign.
