Tweney sings for innovation and a free market for corporations which have a near monopoly. Good solutions for regulation and oversight are not presented.

An excellent, well written example of one-sided (special interests) propaganda masquerading as real news. In this case, how being charged by carriers based on usage will somehow benefit everyone, because the free access we now enjoy will overburden networks and destroy us. (Implicit threat.)

The argument for "let the free market decide" and allow ISP's to charge more for greater bandwidth usage is essentially the same arguement that the health insurance industry used to set up excluding "preexisting conditions" and we all know where that lead us. The small guy will be frozen out because of his "preexisting condition" of not having the money to compete with the wealthy. Net neutrality prevents tierred access by social class.
