the piece summarizes the status of the health care option in health care reform using a number of journalistic sources as well as pres. obama's recent speech, iit analyzes the likelihood of a bill getting passed which creates real change in effectiveness in delivery and for reducing health care costs.

i share the writer's concerns here for many of the reasons mentioned and/or quoted in the article
