The story brings in the various light scandals that have surrounded the process of selecting VP candidates, which seems unduly to require an echo of past story of Jim Johnson from the Obama committee. Culvahouse is called "low profile" instead of "darkly secretive." The article goes to pains to minimize Culvahouse's past duty as a lobbyist.
