Interesting report about the growing role of the internet in disseminating political information. As with most Pew Research studies, this report is very informative, based on solid methodology, and quite insightful in understanding how new media shape American political attitudes, particularly young people. Article presents the results of surveys on internet use and politics and speculates what the impact may be on the 2008 presidential election. Internet usage is higher for this presidential election in the area of watching political videos, networking sites, obtaining information on the candidates, and making political contributions.
