This article is a valuable tool for defending Obama against assertions that his plans for tax reform will have a major negative impact on working people. In addition, once the facts are known, McCain's semantic manipulation is exposed; McCain intends to scare the middle-class into believing that Obama is a "tax and spend liberal" who will pick their pockets and bankrupt the nation. The documentation of the piece is thorough and detailed. Having the facts available in such a concise form is very useful for debate, especially when the opposing parties have such strong motivation to "spin" the other's position.
