National Review is in the bag for the Republican candidate; McCain could declare war on motherhood and they would applaud. If you haven't seen the ad, it is reasonably good propaganda. Only time will tell if the American people buy McCain's story.

The McCain ad that this article highlights starts off with a reference to the type of bravado that the fool that got us into this war used. As much as McCain might wish this was enough to distance himself from BushCo, repudiation of that thinking is going to require a fairly quick end to the war in Iraq. It is not good journalism - at all. "Lightworker" - in politics? Some people try to claim that Obama is placing himself as a saviour figure. I see him as a man of integrity. McCain will say what is expedient at the time. he has done this over and over again. I would like to see someone ask McCain directly what he will do about the Executive Orders that were signed by Bush. How many will he resend?
