The article presents both sides of the story but tends to credit the McCain campaign's assertions that he has a track record of taking on vested interests. In reality, he takes on others' vested interests, not the lobbyists/special interests who support him. Same with the assertion that McCain takes on lobbyist-tainted money. Decently well written article. Takes McCain to task for projecting a maverick image while at the same time being totally Washington in everything he does. Would have liked to have seen more of the back story for McCain's anti-lobbying positions and legislation to better show what a hypocrite he is being in this.
