I had high hopes for this article, but it disappointed. 1) I think she's wrong about Megabus starting this trend. I'm pretty sure it was Chinatown bus companies that introduced inexpensive intercity bus travel on the East coast. 2) There's no discussion of the green angle on this, nor how the airline and rail industries are responding.
