Media still freezing out anti-war veterans

In March, dozens of veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars gathered in Maryland to offer their firsthand accounts of what they had seen--and in some cases done--in both war zones. The dramatic Winter Soldier hearings were well-covered in the alternative and independent media. When big corporate media refuses to cover anti-war stories, it exemplifies the death of an informed democracy. When the May 31 Winter Soldier testimony was held in Seattle, the Seattle PI had coverage, albeit on the page with the obits. I saw no other coverage. The story continues.

(123 breath! btb) There was a news blackout. Iraq and Afghanistan veterans told their stories. . Winter Soldier hearings or testimonies to the Congressional Progressive Caucus received no coverage. (take another breath)
