This article shows the Republican party reaction to recent political upsets. I rated it down on context and balance, as it implies the cause of these political upsets is the tarnishing of the Republican brand under Bush. This seems to deny a couple of other possibilities - 1. the Democratic candidates who won were better qualified, and had more resonant platforms, than their opponents and 2. Others within the Republican party share some of the credit for what has happened under the Bush administration. If we forget the latter, our nation could be lulled into believing the mere departure of Mr. Bush will somehow restore the Republican Party's credibility.
