I must disclose that I work for this publication. However, I think Gwertzman's interview of Young, the Daily Star's op-ed editor, is really illuminating. It provides an on-the-ground perspective but also the big picture of Lebanese politics that most reports coming our of Beirut seem to miss. The level of nuance and detail is a bit hard to follow, but it's also necessary, given the complexity of the situation in Beirut.
