This commentary is smooth and subtle in its presentation (she lets primary sources tell the story) of the conflicts of political views and strategies behind the historical move toward equality for women in the workplace. McCain's position is revealed to be a traditional put off, "I'm for it except I'm against it when it hurts employers' bottom line", and "Why don't they go away to college for an education so they can be discriminated against as a manager?"
