Israelis Kill 3, Injure Dozens in Assault on Gaza Ship Convoy Carrying Humanitarian Aid

Solidarity activists aboard one of six relief vessels traveling to Gaza with humanitarian report that they have been attacked by Israeli forces, with three of their human rights volunteers killed and roughly 30 injured. While definitely portraying one side of the issue, this story contains 18 links to a combination of background stories and videos of the experience. When compared with http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100531/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_israel_palestinians it seems much less biased, since that link states without comment that the Israelis blame the deaths on pro-Palestinian activists who allegedly attacked the Israelis with weapons taken from the Israelis and with sticks. Logic would tell one that activists would not have those items unless the Israelis had already provoked the activists by boarding their ships.

Some of the boats are reported to be U.S. "territory." I think this is a translation of a term meaning that they are registered in the U.S.
