York is a regressive, with a predisposition to make labor unions look bad, so he is reporting happy news, and it shows. No investigation regarding why the numbers are lower either here nor in the linked Gallup poll.

This is good, straight-forward reporting of Gallup's data. The story is short, which is good because it is based entirely on one data point. If the numbers go up the next time this matter is polled, the story will be worthless.

Byron York reported the new data from the Gallup survey, and even researched the support of labor unions for recent presidents. However, he didn't offer any ideas as to why the numbers have changed from the previous presidents. I would have liked to read some analysis of the new information. I could have gathered most of the information stated in the story simply by glancing at the Gallup polls myself. That being said, it was a well written story, and I'm glad since he only was ...
