This story provides some facts, but without the context that would make them more meaningful. For example, it could mention other notables, such as former VP Dick Cheney, who used comparable language, and other notables who are as far or farther to the right as Jones is to the left.

I think Pence should be fired. I'd also lay good money that he's used some off-color language sometime in the past. Most of us have. It's rarely grounds for dismissal. Nor are statements made or opinions held before we held our current posts. But, when you're out to hang somebody, I guess anything will do. CNN should be ashamed fo aiding and abetting this vendetta. How stupid, to sign an online petition as a member of the Administration is stupid in the first place unless you had an okay from legal.
